The Arachnomancy App, developed by Studio Tomás Saraceno, offers a unique exploration of the interconnectedness of all entities, both animate and inanimate. Utilizing a digital version of the Arachnomancy Cards, users can engage in an oracle reading that reflects a range of contemporary themes—from Invertebrate Rights to Climate Eviction—articulated by the artist for the Spider/Web Pavilion 7 during the May You Live In Interesting Times exhibition, curated by Ralph Rugoff at the 58th International Biennale Arte in Venice.

This application conceptually situates spider/webs as nonhuman pavilions that transcend traditional national representations. By inviting users to submit photographs of spider/webs they encounter in their environment, the app facilitates a personal connection to the Arachnocene, allowing users to summon an oracle reading that communicates insights beyond conventional human language. The readings are informed by spider vibrational communication, integrating seismic signals gathered from actual spider/webs documented in the Arachnophilia Archives.

Users are encouraged to revisit their readings and share their discoveries with others through the Oracle Archive feature, fostering a broader dialogue about interspecies relationships and environmental awareness.
